I don’t just take photos you know…

If you are aware of my other blog, http://ihatehate.wordpress.com, you may know that I’m not just a photographer.  I write on a number of different issues, such as politics, current affairs, soppy crap going on in my life (yes, I do have a life offline – soppy as it may be) – and I also write fiction and the (very occasional) poem.   I don’t write as much fiction as I’d like to: I’m a lazy sod, and I find it easier to shoot togs rather than sit down at my keyboard and construct fiction that I think (hope) someone will find meaningful.  But, when the nasty winter weather swoops in, and I don’t feel like sorting through the togs I’ve been taking, and I’m too cynical and heart-aching to write for http://ihatehate.wordpress.com, I sometimes delve into the fiction folder on my computer and sometimes manage to write a story (or even a poem, believe it or not!) that I think doesn’t stink too bad.  And when I do this, I sometimes put my stories on http://www.shortbreadstories.co.uk/.  If you go to http://www.shortbreadstories.co.uk/member/view/martin_topping/ you can see some stuph about me.  There’s a “recent activity” thing at http://www.shortbreadstories.co.uk/member/view/martin_topping/recent_activity/ (not a  lot there at the moment (1 January 2015) but I’m gonna try and make a new year’s resolution to get more stuph up at http://www.shortstories.co.uk… as well as getting more of my photos on martintoppingimages.wordpress.com… and learning basic electronics and python coding (yeah, I often start a new year with loads of good intentions, then I drink and take drugs and end up doing jack shit… but maybe if some of you hum,an beings out there give me a bit of hassle, maybe I’ll actually *do* something this year!  Tell ya what: if you bug me to do stuph, I’ll try really hard to actually *do* stuph!  Anyone wanna help me?

Anyway, New Year’s Resolutions and boots up my ass.  I’ll provide the one, you give me the other.  Who knows, maybe I’ll become famous or an alcoholic drug addict or something, eh?
